Friday March 20th, 2pm at Reads Hotel, Santa Maria

Our March lunch will be held in the beautiful setting of Reads Hotel in Santa Maria at 2pm.  On this Friday we have yoga at 11am at Reads and this will be a great opportunity if you would like to come to the class and use the spa facilities before lunch (this facility to be booked directly with the Hotel).  Reservations for the lunch please email MLC.  There will also be raffle prizes for an overnight´s stay at Reads and also prizes for use of the spa facilities.

Special Guest Speaker Dr. Arkadi Prokop ….
a Russian scientist and physician for integrative medicine, who has recently come to live and work in Majorca.

He will introduce us to a new biomedical, rejuvenative technology, something we all need once we have passed the age of 30 – 40. Then the decline of our body cells begins to accelerate drastically, establishing the basis for future chronic illnesses.

More than twenty years ago Dr. Prokop worked to develop this technology, which was first used to keep Russian kosmonauts fit in – flight, then to boost the potential of elite and Olympic athletes. He has two patents and many scientific publications in this field, and decades of practical experience.

He now concentrates on speeding up the natural repair of body cells, with astonishing anti-aging results.

Dr. Arkadi Prokop was born in 1949 in Moscow and studied medicine there.
In 1980 – 1993 he was in the medical team for biomedical research on the Russian space and deep sea diving programes.

In 1995 – 2007 he was in private practice in Heidelberg, Germany, and in 2000 – 2004 he was a guest scientist and lecturer in the US.
He has worked for over 25 years with Intermittent Hypoxic Training, a revolutionary cell-rejuvenative therapy. He has conducted independent clinical research and published scientific papers and popular articles on this therapy.

In September 2007 he presented his spectacular results at two anti-aging conferences in England: one in Cambridge, and the other in London.

A nice summer social evening BBQ outside in the beatiful garden. Thank you to Kate Mentink for coming along to support us with Angela (who has MLC cards at the Town Hall if you are not a Member yet) and also to Warwick from Hi Society Magazine for taking photos of our event. The food was excellent and the service, for which we thank Naomi. A good evening with nice company.

What an absolutely great first event on the East Coast – East meets West!! Lots of new people and great to see so many new members and their partners and friends for our second ´open´event . Makeup and Cava Evening – Thursday 25th September at 6pm Members only event

MLC and Kirsten Sand Beauty will be having a Makeup demonstration and Cava Evening at Kirsten´s apartment in Portals near Marineland. Kirsten ran a very successful beauty business in Jersey for over 20 years and is now living in Mallorca.

Kirsten welcomes MLC members and will choose one of our ladies to work on during the evening and show us how to look after our skin and apply makeup properly. Please register for this evening event by email. tickets on sale at 10€ for MLC members.
