Social Media For Business Growth

Social Media has, in the last two years or less, become one of the biggest phenomena to hit the internet and drastically alter the way consumers and businesses communicate. And yet, with over 40 million people already signed up on the likes of Twitter, 250,000 on Facebook and with YouTube being the second highest viewed website in the world, social media for businesses is still a) relatively unknown to the business world and b) in its infancy.

Don’t get me wrong, Social media isn’t the only answer to business growth – there is alot more to it than that, but the likes of Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn in particular lend themselves nicely to small and medium businesses to promote themselves alongside the big spenders of the multinational corporates, and can compliment other marketing aspects of your business in a more cost effective way.
